  • Pinch of regular salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder

For Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp pistachios, chopped
  • 2 tbsp almonds, sliced
  • 1 tbsp dried rose petals (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp honey for drizzling

Instructions:

1. Prepare the cream base:

  1. Gradually add powdered sugar while continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  2. Gently fold in the cardamom powder and rose water.
  3. Fold in the yogurt until completely incorporated.
  4. Refrigerate while preparing the fruits.

2. Prepare the fruits:

  1. Wash, peel, and chop all fruits into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Place them in a large mixing bowl.
  3. For fruits that brown easily like apples and bananas, toss them with a little lemon juice.

3. Prepare the chaat masala mixture:

  1. In a small bowl, combine chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and black pepper powder.
  2. Mix well and set aside.

4. Assemble the cream fruit chaat:

  1. Sprinkle half of the chaat masala mixture over the fruits and gently toss.
  2. Take the cream mixture out of the refrigerator and fold in the fruits carefully.
  3. Sprinkle the remaining chaat masala mixture over the top.

5. Serve:

  1. Transfer the cream fruit chaat to a serving bowl or individual dessert glasses.
  2. Garnish with chopped pistachios, sliced almonds, dried rose petals, and fresh mint leaves.
  3. Drizzle with honey just before serving.
  4. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.
  5. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.

Tips:

  • For best results, prepare this dish just before serving to maintain the freshness of the fruits.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar to the cream mixture.
  • For a lighter version, you can use low-fat cream or increase the ratio of yogurt to cream.
  • Add a pinch of saffron soaked in warm milk for extra flavor and color.
  • For a creative presentation, serve in clear glasses to show the colorful layers.

Enjoy your halal cream fruit chaat - a perfect blend of sweet, tangy, and creamy flavors!
